Kentucky High School Football Rankings: Week 2
Week Two is in the books and there are some movements in our Kentucky high school football rankings. LCA moved up four spots after putting up 465 yards of offense in a 35-28 win over Boyle County. Usually a WR/DB, Mason Moore stepped in to play quarterback in the victory. Moore, the son of former UK linebacker Marty Moore, had three touchdowns in the win over Boyle County. UVA commit Xavier Brown had a late 69-yard TD run that turned out to be the game-winning score.
Lexington Catholic also moves up four spots after defeating Pulaski County on a last-second field goal in the Kroger KSR Game of the Week. No. 1 Male picked up an impressive 51-14 win over Ballard despite star defensive lineman Selah Brown missing his second straight game due to a nagging leg injury. The Bulldogs travel to No. 9 St. Xavier Friday in a blockbuster showdown on Poplar Level Road, our next Kroger KSR Game of the Week.
