Kentucky holds firm at No. 10 in the latest AP Poll
Kentucky took a solid hit last week, falling from No. 4 to No. 10 in the Week 8 update of the AP Poll after suffering a 20-point loss to Ohio State in the CBS Sports Classic. Where do things stand seven days (and zero games) later for the Wildcats? No wins or losses, no movement, Mark Pope’s group holding firm at No. 10 in the Week 9 release.
Tennessee continues to sit atop the college basketball world at No. 1, followed by Auburn at No. 2, Iowa State at No. 3, Duke at No. 4, Alabama at No. 5, Florida at No. 6, Kansas at No. 7, Marquette at No. 8, Oregon at No. 9, Kentucky at No. 10, UConn at No. 11, Oklahoma at No. 12 and Texas A&M at No. 13.
That’s no movement whatsoever in the top 13, for those curious.
From there, Mississippi State (No. 17), Arkansas (No. 23) and Ole Miss (No. 24) make up the other ranked teams in the SEC while Georgia and Missouri continue to receive votes.

Kentucky in other National Rankings
There’s not much damage to be done when you haven’t played a game since Dec. 21. The Cats fell from consensus top-five status to top 15 in the national rankings a week ago, and that remains the case.
