A big-time class of 2025 recruit will spend the day in Lexington. Four-star shooting guard Braylon Mullins is taking an unofficial visit to Kentucky today where he’ll meet with Mark Pope and the rest of the new coaching staff.

This is the first of three unofficial visits this week for Mullins, who is now ranked No. 32 overall by On3. The 6-foot-4, 180-pound sharpshooter has seen his stock soar this spring as a member of Indiana Elite on the Adidas 3SSB circuit. After leaving Kentucky, he’ll stop at Purdue on Wednesday and Ohio State on Thursday.

Both Pope and associate head coach Alvin Brooks watched Mullins perform over the weekend at the Charlie Hughes Showcase in Indiana. On Saturday with Pope courtside, he dropped 34 points in a close 60-58 win for Greenfield-Central over Ben Davis.

Mullins has yet to announce a scholarship offer from Kentucky, but the expectation is that one will come during his visit if all goes well. Along with Pope and Brooks, assistant coach Cody Fueger is also aiding in this recruitment. Mullins currently holds offers from the likes of Kansas, North Carolina, UConn, Alabama, Michigan State, Tennessee, and plenty more.

Going into the spring, Mullins was considered a low-end four-star prospect. But after averaging 20.1 points per game for Indiana Elite across 13 games played (13-0), he’s now ranked as a Top 35 prospect by On3, 247Sports, and Rivals. He was the fourth-most efficient scorer in the entire league at 1.13 points per possession, according to Synergy.

Mullins was absolutely lights out shooting the ball during the spring, ripping off splits of 55.8 percent from the field, an incredible 52.1 percent from deep on 7.4 attempts per outing, and 73.1 percent from the line. He chipped in 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, as well, while playing alongside fellow Kentucky target, four-star center Malachi Moreno.

Alongside Moreno, Mullins will lead Indiana Elite into the 3SSB championship round set for July 9-14 in Rock Hill, SC. Will he bring a Kentucky offer with him?
