Moments after the AP poll named Kentucky its seventh-ranked team, the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll presented by USA Today did Kentucky one better with a No. 6 ranking this week.

The 32 Division I coaches of the Ferris Mowers Board of Coaches voted Kentucky down three spots from last week’s No. 3 ranking, moving the Wildcats behind Gonzaga, Duke, Arizona, Baylor, and Auburn. Behind Kentucky, you will find Kansas, Providence, Purdue, and Wisconsin to close out college basketball’s top 10.
