LISTEN: "The Thundercats," Kentucky Joe's latest song
We have another Kentucky Basketball song to listen to, Big Blue Nation, this one by an artist with several hits under his belt. Kentucky Joe called today’s radio show to share his latest piece, “The Thundercats,” a nod to Sean Woods’ nickname for this squad and the 1980s cartoon.

While nothing may top “Big Blue Fan In The Morning,” Kentucky Joe’s original hit, I think this deserves a place in the top five of his catalog, maybe even the top three. Hopefully, Kentucky channels its Thundercats moniker tonight vs. the Bulldogs.
“Reed & Rob” full version now available
“The Thundercats” is just the latest song about this Kentucky Basketball team. Last week, we got a teaser of “Reed & Rob,” a rap about freshman guards Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham penned by Lexington-based realtor and rapper Scotty Frys. Today, the full version dropped on Spotify, Apple Music, and Soundcloud, just in time to add to your Kentucky vs. Mississippi State pregame playlist.
