Kentucky Joe sings "Down, Down Coronavirus" after receiving vaccine

Yesterday, one of KSR’s favorite callers Kentucky Joe became the first nursing home resident in the state to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. As part of his whirlwind media tour, he called in to KSR this morning to describe the experience and perform his hit song from March 2020, “Down, Down Coronavirus.”
“It felt like a flu shot,” Joe said of the vaccine. “It felt so good I’m ready for No. 2.”
ICYMI, here is Joe receiving his shot on Monday. His picture was even featured on Governor Andy Beshear’s daily briefing.
You probably know him as “Kentucky Joe” on @KySportsRadio …with @ryanlemond @DrewFranklinKSR @ShannonTheDude today he was one of the first—in fact I think he was THE first nursing home resident in Kentucky to get the covid-19 vaccine. More at 530 @WKYT @WYMT pic.twitter.com/YhxUxkvjSn
