Kentucky JUCO DT Target Sets Decision Date
The Kentucky football recruiting decisions are rolling in daily. The Wildcats could celebrate the first week of July with four straight days of commitments. Another addition may be on the horizon, but we will have to wait just a little bit longer.
Dennious Jackson, a junior college defensive lineman, shared on social media that he will be announcing his college decision on Monday, July 8.
Unlike the players making moves this week, Jackson is a member of the 2024 recruiting class. That means once he selects a school, he’ll be quickly packing his bags and moving to campus ahead of preseason training camp.
Kentucky appears to be his top suitor, with only a few other small schools in the mix. Jacob Polacheck of KSR+ has submitted an RPM pick for the Wildcats to secure a commitment.

Jackson is just what the Wildcats are looking for on the defense line after suffering a rash of injuries in spring practice. A 6-foot-5, 335-pound defensive tackle, he can play nose guard in the Wildcats’ 3-4 defense, freeing up Deone Walker to rush the passer from outside alignments. The Atlanta native should have two years of eligibility remaining after spending time at Contra Costa College in California.
