Kentucky locks in official visit date with in-state prospect Karsten Busch

The current recruiting dead period in February is just about to end. A new live recruiting period will arrive in March and unofficial visits can be resumed when that arrives. But just around the corner is official visit season in June.
That is when the real push for commitments will be made. Kentucky locked in a visit date for a key in-state target on Tuesday. High three-star linebacker Karsten Busch will be in Lexington from June 20-22 for an official visit.
Kentucky made the drive down I-64 twice to visit the Louisville (Ky.) St. Xavier linebacker twice in January. Karsten Busch also has an official visits scheduled with Wisconsin and Indiana. Louisville is also involved in this recruitment.
The Wildcats have not signed a prospect from the St. X in more than a few years, but have added walk-ons almost yearly from the high school on Poplar Level Road in Louisville. Most famously, Charles Walker went on to become an important player for Kentucky and a podcaster for Kentucky Sports Radio. Karsten Busch could become the next Tiger to become a Kentucky football player.
