Kentucky leads college basketball in CBS games this season
College basketball games on CBS just hit different. The signature trumpet fanfare serves as a reminder of the ultimate goal, the NCAA Tournament, and is only reserved for the best of the best in the sport. Although Kentucky is outside the Top 15 in both preseason polls, the Wildcats will shine under the CBS spotlight more than any other program in college basketball this season.
No. 16 Kentucky will be featured in five CBS games during the regular season, which ranks ahead of No. 4 Michigan State (four), No. 1 Kansas (three), and a handful of programs with two (No. 3 Purdue, No. 7 Houston, No. 8 Creighton, No. 9 Tennessee, No. 17 San Diego State, and No. 25 Illinois). That includes a tripleheader on Dec. 16 for the CBS Sports Classic (No. 1 Kansas at Indiana precedes the event on CBS).
