HALF: Kentucky leads Dominican Republic 43-25

It’s only been 20 minutes, but man, this Kentucky Basketball team is fun to watch. At halftime, the Cats lead the Dominican Republic National Select Team 43-25.
Antonio Reeves leads the way with nine points, all threes, followed by Cason Wallace and Lance Ware with six points each. Kentucky has SEVEN blocks already, with Daimion Collins, Jacob Toppin, and Adou Thiero accounting for two each. Collins has been a standout so far, throwing down this insane dunk that deserves to be in the SportsCenter Top 10:

A better look from the lens of Dr. Mike:

The Cats are shooting 48.5% (16-33) from the field, 36.4% (4-11) from three while holding the Dominicans to 34%, 18.2% from the outside. Oddly, Oscar Tshiebwe only has one rebound in 11 minutes of play.

Unfortunately, there is already an injury to report. Sahvir Wheeler left the game with what appeared to be a hurt ankle. We’ll bring you updates on his status when we get them.
