Kentucky leads High Point 43-25 at halftime
After an emotional pregame ceremony honoring Tubby Smith, the Cats got down to business vs. the Panthers. Kentucky leads High Point 43-25 at halftime. The Panthers kept it close for a bit, but Kentucky went on a 17-3 run in the final 5:10 to extend the lead to 18.
TyTy Washington leads all scorers with ten points, along with six assists. Oscar Tshiebwe has nine points and five rebounds so far. Lance Ware is following up a good performance vs. Missouri with five rebounds and two blocks in only three minutes. Kellan Grady has two threes and a very emphatic dunk en route to eight points and two steals.
Overall, a good first half. Keep it up, Cats.
