Kentucky limps into halftime with 45-33 lead over WKU
It wasn’t pretty, but it was enough to take a 12-point lead going into the break for Kentucky against WKU, the Wildcats up 45-33 after 20 minutes.
Otega Oweh and Andrew Carr lead the team with nine points apiece, followed by Jaxson Robinson with eight, Lamont Butler and Kerr Kriisa with five apiece, Brandon Garrison with four, Koby Brea with three and Amari Williams with two. As a group, the Cats are shooting just 45.2 percent overall and 28.6 percent from three with seven turnovers and just nine assists.

As for the Hilltoppers, they’re also off to an abysmal offensive start, shooting just 30.3 percent from the field and 18.8 percent from three. Julius Thedford leads the way with eight points, followed by Don McHenry and Enoch Kalambay with seven apiece.

Kentucky is still on pace to cover the spread and score 90, but plenty to clean up in the second half as we move past the BBN Invitational and turn our attention to Thanksgiving.
