Kentucky plays No. 3 Texas in Austin this weekend, but it’s never too early to look ahead to the Governor’s Cup. Oddsmakers agree.

The early line for Kentucky vs. Louisville is out and the Cardinals are favored by 3.5 points on FanDuel, 2.5 points on DraftKings. FanDuel set the total at 48.5 points. If you believe the Cats will win their sixth straight game in the series, you can get them at +134 on the moneyline.

While Kentucky is trying to pull off an upset for the ages in Austin, Louisville will be looking to get back on track vs. Pitt. The Cards are coming off an embarrassing loss at Stanford, in which they allowed the Cardinal to come back from a 35-21 deficit in the fourth quarter to win the game on a 52-yard field goal. It was only Stanford’s fourth victory of the season and came on the heels of Louisville’s big win at No. 11 Clemson. The Cards are now 6-4, 4-3 in the ACC, and no longer ranked in the AP Poll or CFP Rankings. As you know, Kentucky is 4-6, needing to beat both Texas and Louisville to become bowl-eligible.

The Governor’s Cup will kick off at high noon on November 30 at Kroger Field. It will be televised on the SEC Network. Things may look bleak for Kentucky right now, but we said the same thing last year and the Cats, who were double-digit underdogs, somehow left Louisville with a 38-31 victory over the No. 9 Cardinals. If you believe the same thing will happen this year, you can now put money on it.
