Brad White Talks About Kentucky's Season Finale Vs Louisville

Thanksgiving weekend has officially arrived. That means rivalry football. All across the college football landscape on Saturday, trophy games will take place as teams and fan bases look to earn bragging rights for a year. One of the most underrated rivalry series will take place in the Bluegrass at high noon.

Kentucky owns a four-game winning streak and a 19-15 overall lead in the Governor’s Cup series. However, the Wildcats enter this week’s contest as a touchdown-plus underdog. Despite the lack of momentum entering the game, we still got some pregame fireworks in pregame at L&N Federal Credit Union.

In what appears to be a yearly tradition, Kentucky and Louisville met at midfield for a mild pregame scuffle on Saturday morning.

Who doesn’t love some trash talking with their morning coffee? I have a feeling that this will not be the last scuffle we will see on Saturday. The trash-talking continued once the Wildcats returned to the field for pregame warm-ups.

Louisville is having a banner year under first-year head coach Jeff Brohm. The Cardinals are 11-1 (7-1), ranked inside the top 10, and still alive in the College Football Playoff hunt. Next weekend, UofL will head to Charlotte to face Florida State in the ACC Championship Game. That appears to be the biggest game in program history. But first, they must end a long losing drought to their in-state rival.

Kentucky is looking to play spoiler. We should be in for a fun afternoon in the Derby City. Buckle up those chinstraps.
