Kentucky-LSU Numbers You Need to Know, Presented by Eckrich

Before we give you some numbers you need to know, we’re happy to let you know that Eckrich is proud to present the $1 Million Challenge for Teachers! This 2021 college football season Eckrich, in partnership with Extra Yard for Teachers and Kroger, will invite a local teacher (and true hero) onto the field at the Tennessee vs Kentucky game on November 6th.

These lucky teachers, randomly selected from a list of entries, will have a chance to throw a football through a target to win up to $1 million dollars in donations to fund local classroom projects. Nominate a teacher here for a chance to throw! Make sure to nominate your teacher by October 27th.


7 — Career rushing touchdowns of 20+ yards by Chris Rodriguez entering the season. He has yet to pop off a big scoring play in 2021. C-Rod is due for a big play or two or three.

8 — Field goals attempted by LSU’s Cade York, 8 field goals made. He’s made three field goals from 50+ yards this season.

9 — Touchdowns by LSU wide receiver Kayshon Boutte, the most in the SEC.

11 — Combined receptions of 30+ yards by Wan’Dale Robinson and Kayshon Boutte, ranked No. 1 No. 2 in the SEC. Robinson has one more than the LSU wideout.

12-2 — Kentucky’s record in its last 14 home night games.

14 — Years since LSU has traveled to Lexington. That 2007 win was kind of a big deal.

16-1 — LSU’s record in games after a loss under Coach O.

17 — College football teams are still unbeaten. Kentucky is one of them.

19-7 — Kentucky’s record in one-score games since 2016.

70.6 — Rushing yards per game by LSU is the second-worst in the SEC. Their passing defense is also the worst in the SEC, allowing more than 248 yards per game.

71 — Years since Kentucky started a season 6-0.

124.2 — Rushing yards per game by the SEC’s leading rusher, Chris Rodriguez.

467 — Receiving yards by Wan’Dale Robinson are the most in the SEC.
