Kentucky Men's Soccer ranked No. 4 in Preseason Sun Belt Poll
The Kentucky Men’s soccer program has taken the No. 4 slot in the preseason Sun Belt Conference Coaches Poll, it was announced earlier this week. Two ‘Cats from the squad were also named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt Team in sophomore Isaiah Chisolm and junior Casper Mols.
Kentucky completed its 2023 season with its fifth consecutive trip to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. UK managed two upsets of nationally ranked No. 1 and No. 2 with a final record of 8-8-4 on the season.
In his first season at Kentucky, Chisolm led the team with 34 shots, including nine on goal. The Yorktown, Virginia native also totaled three goals to go with three assists during his freshman debut.

Mols was named to the Sun Belt Conference All-Tournament Team after finishing his second year at Kentucky, where he tallied 63 saves and 21 goals against over 18 matches. The Aabenraa, Denmark native ranked second in the conference in saves, averaging a save percentage of .750 during his sophomore run.
The ‘Cats closed the preseason on Friday, Aug. 16 in an exhibition match against Northern Kentucky University. The regular season begins Aug. 22 when Kentucky will host Oral Roberts at 7:30 p.m. ET.
