Kentucky moves on up in Lunardi's Bracketology update
The hardest-working man in NCAA Tournament projections made yet another update to his 2024 forecast, and Kentucky fans will like one of his moves. Earlier today, Joe Lunardi reordered his tournament seeding, including a bump from a No. 3 seed to a No. 2 seed for the Wildcats.
Kentucky’s time on the No. 3 line was short-lived; Lunardi upgraded Kentucky from a No. 4 seed in his new bracket earlier this week. Today’s update does not include a new bracket or the full landscape, but Lunardi’s Thursday afternoon post shows Kentucky switched places with Clemson after the Tigers lost to Miami. (Thank you, Miami.) The other 14 top-four seeds were unchanged.

Lunardi will release a new bracket projection on Friday for ESPN.com.
In Tuesday’s bracket, he had Kentucky playing Fort Wayne in Memphis in the South’s 3-vs-14 game. Houston and Clemson were the South Region’s two higher seeds in that projection.
Lunardi talks to KSR+
In addition to Friday’s Bracketology update, Joe Lunardi will be featured on KSR+ in an interview with Jacob Polacheck. Polacheck will soon release his conversation with Lunardi so Kentucky fans can learn more about Mr. Bracketology, his process, and what he thinks of this year’s Wildcats.
