Kentucky moves up to No. 16 in the new AP and Coaches College Basketball Polls

Kentucky Basketball’s Sunday win in London earned the Wildcats a three-spot climb in the new Associated Press College Basketball Poll. The 73-69 victory over unranked Michigan (and other results around college basketball) pushed Kentucky up from 19th to 16th in this week’s new Top 25.

Gonzaga was one of the teams clearing the way for Kentucky with a four-spot drop to No. 18 following a loss to Baylor.

Other teams on UK’s schedule in the poll are Kansas (6), Tennessee (7), Alabama (8), Arkansas (9), Auburn (11), UCLA (19), and Mississippi State (23).
