Kentucky WBB named 4-seed, No. 14 overall in last NCAA Bracket Preview before NCAA Tournament

The last time we got some insight into the NCAA Tournament selection committee’s seeding process, Kentucky was named the highest 4-seed, being slotted in at No. 13 overall in the Spokane Region. Since then, the Cats have defeated Georgia and Missouri, then falling to No. 7 LSU on Sunday.
So, what does the committee make of Kentucky’s resume 17 days removed from Selection Sunday?
On the last official NCAA Bracket Preview Show before the NCAA Tournament, Kentucky was named a 4-seed and the No. 14 overall team in the field.
There are six total teams from the SEC amongst the Top 16 seeds. The Cats were paired with 1-seed USC, 2-seed UConn and 3-seed Duke in the Birmingham 2 region.

- USC
- Notre Dame
- South Carolina
- UConn
- LSU
- NC State
- TCU
- North Carolina
