Kentucky WBB named 4-seed, No. 13 overall in official NCAA Bracket Preview Show

You would have to go back to the 2021-22 season to find an NCAA Tournament bracket that had Kentucky featured as one of the 68 teams in the big dance. Fast forward three years and a new head coach in Kenny Brooks later, Kentucky is in prime position to not only make the NCAA Tournament, but to host the first two rounds in Lexington.

On the official NCAA Bracket Preview Show, Kentucky was named a 4-seed and the No. 13 overall team in the field.

There are six total teams from the SEC amongst the Top 16 seeds. The Cats were paired with 1-seeded Notre Dame, 2-seeded USC and 3-seeded Kansas State in the Spokane 4 region.

Here’s the complete list of the Top 16 overall seeds:

  2. South Carolina
  3. Texas
  4. Notre Dame
  5. USC
  6. LSU
  7. UCOnn
  8. NC State
  9. TCU
  10. Duke
  11. North Carolina
  12. Kansas State
  13. Kentucky
  14. Ohio State

  16. Tennessee
