The games haven’t even begun in Milwaukee and we’ve got content overload. Between the website and radio crew, KSR had seven sets of boots on the ground at the Fiserv Forum to cover Kentucky and Troy’s open practice, press conferences, and locker room interviews. We’ll have content rolling out all night and through the morning but for the Cliff’s Notes version, may I present our Rapid Reaction?

Drew Franklin, Jack Pilgrim, and I shared updates on what Mark Pope, the players, and the Troy Trojans said, along with our observations from the open practices, including the moment Pope told everyone to be quiet so the Cats could focus on their free throws. Between that, the media group picture with the team, and the fun chatter in the press conferences, the vibes seem very different from last year — hopefully, the result will be too. We really don’t want to go home on Saturday.
