Kentucky football currently has a Top 25 recruiting class in the 2025 cycle, but the Wildcats aren’t done cooking up the next batch of incoming freshmen.

On Friday morning, ATH Chaz Coleman out of Warren G Harding (OH) announced on social media that he received an offer from Kentucky. Clocking in at 6-foot-5, 205 pounds, Coleman has flown under the radar throughout his high school career but he appears to be on the verge of a breakout early into his senior season. Ole Miss also reached out with an offer, which he announced on August 21.

Coleman is being recruited to the Rebels as a tight end, but he’s also capable of playing on defense at linebacker, as well. He even takes snaps under center at quarterback.

Doubling as a talented basketball player, Coleman recently received an offer to play Division II college basketball at Ashland University. On the gridiron, smaller schools such as Akron, Youngstown State, and Hampton offered prior to UK and Ole Miss. He camped during the summer at the likes of Ohio State, Cincinnati, and West Virginia.

When you look at the numbers Coleman put up in Harding’s season-opener last week against McKinley (a tight 26-19 loss), it’s easy to see why more Power 4 schools are getting involved. He went 6-9 passing for 92 yards and one touchdown at quarterback while rushing for an additional 62 yards on 17 carries with another touchdown.

On defense, Coleman was equally as impactful, finishing with nine total tackles (seven solo), four of them for loss, along with one sack. He caused three fumbles just by himself while also swatting down a pass. And oh yeah, he punted the ball three times for an average of 35 yards per punt.

Kentucky likely won’t be the last P4 school to offer Coleman, who is currently unranked by all major recruiting services. Watch him work in the highlights from his season-opener below.
