Kentucky is one of 16 teams to advance to the Super Regional round of the 2023 NCAA College Baseball Tournament. Unfortunately, to get to Omaha, the Bat Cats will have to knock off the team with the second-best odds of winning the whole darn thing.

BetOnline.ag released odds for the College World Series earlier today. Kentucky is in the middle of the pack at 28/1. Wake Forest is the favorite at 3/1, followed by LSU (Kentucky’s Super Regional opponent) at 5/1, and Florida at 6/1.

Wake Forest3/1
LSU5/1
Florida6/1
Virginia8/1
South Carolina12/1
Tennessee12/1
Stanford14/1
TCU16/1
Texas16/1
Kentucky28/1
Oregon28/1
Southern Mississippi30/1

Over at Draft Kings, Kentucky’s odds of winning the CWS are much better, 12/1. LSU is currently 13/2 behind Wake Forest (4/1) and Virginia (6/1). Draft Kings also has odds on the Super Regional round. Right now, LSU is a -195 favorite to win the Baton Rouge Super Regional, with Kentucky listed at +160. Some may call that daunting; I call it a good value. We’ll find out for sure starting at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday.
