WATCH: Kentucky Offense Looks Ahead to Ole Miss
The season is young, but Kentucky is already well-versed in what it takes to win on the road against a Top 25 SEC opponent. After winning at Florida in week two, Rich Scangarello’s offense is preparing for a different kind of challenge against the Ole Miss defense.
“It’s unorthodox in the fact that they’re playing with a lot of DBs, but coverage-wise and all that, it’s sound. It’s just a different way of attacking things,” said Scangarello. “I appreciate it. In this world where it’s a spread, tempo world and you play less man coverage, it’s a great way to play the strength of the kind of guys you can recruit. I think they do a good job of coaching it and they kind of have an identity in how they do it and they’re going to create some havoc.”

New Top 25 shows big fallout from Saturday
This time around the Kentucky offense will have another weapon in the backfield, Chris Rodriguez. His coaches and teammates are excited to have him back in the fold. This week there is a little extra pep in the step of the UK running backs.
“C-Rod adds a little bit more. It’s his first game back,” said fellow running back JuTahn McClain. “He’s going to obviously be pumped up. That just adds a little bit of energy.”
