Kentucky WBB offers Whitley Rogers, the 2025 Arkansas Gatorade Player of the Year

Kenny Brooks is officially on the hunt for the best player in the 2026 class to come out of the state of Arkansas.
Whitley Rogers, who was tabbed as the 2025 Arkansas Gatorade Player of the Year, recently announced on social media that she received an offer from Kentucky. She averaged 24.9 points, 6.9 rebound, 3.1 assists and 2.5 steals per game for Little Rock Christian Academy this season.
The 5-foot-11 guard led the Warriors to a 22-5 record en route to a berth in the Class 5A state tournament this season. If you trust the words of a high school coach of a rival, she can really do it all on the court.

“She has the ability to shoot a deep three, the pull-up jump shot or just beast her way to the rim,” Shekinna Stricklen, head coach at Sylvan Hills noted in the Gatorade Player of the Year press release. “She also crashes the boards hard and rebounds the ball. This part is all heart and effort, and her team feeds off it.”
Rogers has an innate ability to put the ball in the hoop, and that’s why Brooks and Kentucky now have her on their radar. Hopefully, we get to see her light it up in Historic Memorial Coliseum down the line (but only if she’s wearing “KENTUCKY” across her chest).
