WATCH: Highlights from Kentucky's open practice in Pittsburgh
The Big Blue Nation may not arrive until tomorrow, but the Cats look right at home at PPG Paints Arena. KSR was four-deep at today’s open practice before Kentucky’s NCAA Tournament first-round game vs. Oakland. As expected, the practice was really a glorified shootaround, but it was still good to see the Cats looking loose after a tight showing in Nashville.
There was lots of dancing, joking, and laughing between shots and autographs afterward for the small group of Kentucky fans in the house. As is tradition, the practice wrapped up with halfcourt shots. Walker Horn was the first one to connect from deep and was swarmed by his teammates. John Calipari was the first to attempt the halfcourt shot and came up juuuuust a bit short.
