Kentucky opens as 17-point favorite vs. Ole Miss on Senior Night

Kentucky is a heavy favorite at home against the Ole Miss Rebels on Tuesday.

With early lines starting to roll out for tomorrow’s matchups, the Wildcats have opened as 17-point favorites against the Rebels. The over/under has also been set at 142 total points.

The Wildcats are 14-15-0 against the spread this season and 9-8-0 at home, while the Rebels are 13-16-0 overall and 5-3-0 on the road. Ole Miss enters the game with a 13-16 record on the year and 4-12 in the SEC.

TeamRankings.com, a system that generates predictions using objective mathematical models, projects Kentucky to come out on top by an average score of 78.8 to 62.6. The ESPN Basketball Power Index gives Kentucky a 96.4 percent chance to win at home.

Elsewhere, Barttorvik projects a 79-64 win for Kentucky on Senior Night, while KenPom picks the Cats to win 80-64.

Kentucky will take on Ole Miss at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday at Rupp Arena in Lexington. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN, with Kevin Fitzgerald (play-by-play), Jimmy Dykes (analyst) and Marty Smith (sideline reporter) on the call.
