Big Blue Nation is hitting the panic button on the Cats but Vegas is not — at least for Tuesday evening inside Rupp Arena with the Rebels coming to town.

Kentucky has opened as an 8.5-point favorite over Ole Miss, according to our friends at FanDuel. The total is set for 164.5 points.

KenPom predicts an 86-79 victory in favor of the Cats with a 74% chance to win. ESPN’s BPI is even higher on Kentucky, giving the home team an 83.3% shot to pull off the victory. Bart Torvik is the lowest on UK’s chances by the slightest of margins at 73% with a projected score of 88-80.

History plays in the Wildcats’ favor, too, owning a 110-14 overall series lead, including 14-2 under John Calipari since his arrival in Lexington. Both of those losses have come in Oxford while Kentucky remains perfect at home.
