Kentucky vs. Oregon State Super Regional Game Times Released
The road to Omaha picks back up on Saturday. Game dates and times were just announced for the Super Regionals and Kentucky vs. Oregon State will begin their best-of-three series on Saturday, June 8 at 6 p.m. ET at Kentucky Proud Park. Sunday’s game will take place at 9 p.m. Both games will air on ESPNU. If a game is necessary on Monday, the game time and TV channel will be announced after Sunday’s game.
The winner of the series will advance to the College World Series in Omaha, which begins on Friday, June 14. They will face the winner of the Athens Super Regional, NC State vs. Georgia.
Oregon State won the Corvallis Regional on Monday with a second victory over UC Irvine. The Beavers are the No. 15 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament to Kentucky’s No. 2 seed and enter the Super Regional with a 45-14 (19-10) record. They have one of the best players in college baseball in Aussie infielder Travis Bazzana, projected as the No. 2 pick in the MLB Draft. Bazzana has a .419 batting average this season with 16 doubles, 28 home runs, and 65 RBI. He’s good.
