It was all smiles for Kentucky men’s basketball on Saturday afternoon.

Down in Knoxville, the Wildcats overcame a slow start out of the gate to take down the No. 5 Tennessee Volunteers by a final score of 63-56. It was a feel-good win all-around for UK, which came into this matchup with a 10-6 overall record and a disappointing 1-3 mark in the SEC. But something clicked for the ‘Cats as they went on to pick up their biggest win of the season so far.

Kentucky hit enough free throws down the stretch to shut down the Vols. The Wildcats’ bench, which was lively from the opening tip to the final buzzer, got extra hyped in the closing moments. From a sweet moment between coaches Chin Coleman and Tyler Ulis to the entire bench (led by the always-energized Lance Ware) jumping for joy once UK had secured the win, the good vibes were in full effect at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself and soak in the win one more time.
