Kentucky QB Will Levis announces return for senior season
Kentucky quarterback Will Levis will officially return for his senior season in 2022.
After admitting he was leaning toward returning to school earlier this month, Levis made it official on Monday, tweeting his final decision with a famous clip from The Terminator.
“I’ll be back,” Arnold Schwarzenegger says in the scene.
Back on Dec. 11, Levis said he’s been leaning toward returning all season long, but wanted to go through the process and not rush his decision.

“I haven’t really done or heard that much concrete information about what decision I should make,” Levis said. “Obviously, in my gut feeling, I’m leaning and have been leaning all season toward coming back, but I want to go through that process and not make a rash decision too early.”
Levis has racked up 2,593 passing yards to go with 23 touchdowns and 12 interceptions through the air to go with 387 yards and nine scores on the ground. It’s the most passing yards for a Kentucky quarterback since Patrick Towles in 2014 and most passing touchdowns since Mike Hartline in 2010. His 32 combined touchdowns ranks fourth on Kentucky’s single-season list and is also top-10 in career scoring.
Kentucky is set to take on Iowa in the VRBO Citrus Bowl on Saturday, January 1 at 1 p.m. ET in Orlando, Florida.
