Kentucky Ranks No. 7 in the AP Poll after Upset Saturday
The dust has settled following a chaotic penultimate weekend of the regular season. For the first time in college basketball history, the top six teams all lost on the same day. Those weren’t the only upsets in the Top 25 of the AP Poll. No. 9 Texas Tech lost to TCU and No. 22 Ohio State dropped a double-digit loss to a bad Maryland team.
This weekend officially brought the madness to college basketball. However, since everybody lost, there was not a ton of moving and shaking in the AP Poll. Kentucky dropped one spot to No. 7 for the final week of the regular season. Gonzaga and Arizona remained 1-2, despite bad losses to Saint Mary’s and Colorado, respectively.

One AP Voter Dropped UK to No. 13
Even though the Wildcats added a comeback win over LSU to their resume last week, one AP voter was unimpressed. Justin Jackson covers the West Virginia Mountaineers; maybe there are still some lingering hard feelings over Oscar Tshiebwe? AP voters are almost as bad at their jobs as college basketball officials.
