Kentucky reaches out to 4-star '25 SG Davion Hannah
Around this time last year, the previous Kentucky coaching staff began to lightly recruit Davion Hannah. In particular, assistant coach Chin Coleman was the one who made contact with Hannah. However, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard never publicly announced an offer from the Wildcats.
Fast forward a year later and Kentucky is once again getting involved with Hannah. According to On3’s Jamie Shaw, new assistant coach Cody Fueger has made contact with the Glendale (WI) Nicolet product.
Hannah is a four-star class of 2025 prospect ranked as the No. 31 overall high school junior in the country, per the On3 Industry Ranking. The likes of Wisconsin, Southern California, Michigan State, Xavier, Cincinnati, and DePaul are also involved in his recruitment. He’s unofficially visited Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Cincinnati.
Hannah tells Shaw that he has yet to schedule any official visits. He adds that Coleman, now at Arkansas alongside head coach John Calipari, has reached out since joining the Razorbacks. Hannah intends to take his visits this summer before considering a decision.

Last weekend in Atlanta, Hannah suited up on the Nike EYBL AAU circuit for Team Herro, which is named after former Kentucky guard Tyler Herro (now with the Miami Heat) and coached by Tyler’s father, Chris. Playing alongside Tyler’s younger brother, Myles Herro, Hannah averaged 22 points, four rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game across three appearances. He shot 56 percent from the field, 46.7 percent from deep (7-15), and 81.3 percent from the line.
Hannah will return to the EYBL circuit next weekend in Indianapolis. KSR will have boots on the ground to talk with/watch him in person.
