The individual player meetings have yet to take place in Lexington regarding stay/go decisions for the current roster, but that doesn’t mean feelers aren’t going out to portal targets about potentially playing at Kentucky next season.
You never know how many spots you’ll need to fill, after all, especially with so many moving pieces for the Wildcats. There will be players graduating, leaving for the draft, returning and entering the portal — every single option for every single roster slot. So why not see who could be interested in the college basketball world as John Calipari looks for roster upgrades?
UTSA transfer Jordan Ivy-Curry is a new one with confirmed interest from Kentucky, according to 24/7 High School Hoops. The Cats have reached out alongside Xavier and Auburn as new schools in contact, along with the likes of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Texas A&M, LSU, Seton Hall, Ole Miss, Penn State, Arizona State and Boston College previously reaching out.
