Kentucky receives votes in Preseason USA Today Coaches Poll
The preseason USA Today Sports AFCA Coaches Poll is out and your University of Kentucky Wildcats…only received votes. Yes, the Cats are outside of the Top 25, coming in at No. 32 with 34 votes. Ahead of them in the “Others Receiving Votes” category are two of their SEC East foes. South Carolina and Florida are No. 27 and No. 28. Boooo to that.
As you might expect, the back-to-back national champion Georgia Bulldogs are No. 1. Michigan is No. 2, Alabama No. 3, Ohio State No. 4, and LSU No. 5. Three more SEC teams made the Top 25, Tennessee (No. 10), Ole Miss (No. 22), and Texas A&M (No. 25). Arkansas, Auburn, Mississippi State, and Missouri also received votes.
Sure would be a shame if this poll made it to the Joe Craft Football Training Center. Just saying.
