Malachi Moreno is the only Kentucky commit at the City of Palms Classic this week in Florida, but he’s hardly the only Kentucky target in action.

Moreno’s run in this tournament-style event begins tonight as No. 2 Great Crossing takes on a talented Columbus squad, which rosters Duke commits Cameron and Cayden Boozer. The Boozer twins are both considered Top 25 recruits in the 2025 class, but Cameron is the better of the two. The 6-foot-9 five-star power forward will likely matchup against Moreno when the two sides collide at 7:15 p.m. EST. This game will be streamed live on the NBA App.

Don’t be shocked if Kentucky sends an assistant down to Florida for that primetime showdown either. The Wildcats were already in the gym on Wednesday to check out some potential future Wildcats. Assistant coach Jason Hart made the trip to the Sunshine State to check out five-star 2026 guard Caleb Holt, who plays for Grayson (GA).

Holt, who has been offered by UK, was impressive in a 96-55 win over Central Catholic (OR), sending Grayson to the second round of the 16-team winner’s bracket. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound two-guard finished with 20 points (7-13 FG), four assists, three rebounds, and two steals in the blowout victory. His team will face the winner of Great Crossing-Columbus on Friday.

Coach Hart hung around the gym later in the day to catch another high-level Kentucky target. Top 15 class of 2026 prospect Alex Constanza and Westminster Academy (FL) came up just short of taking down La Lumiere School (IN), losing 85-82. The 6-foot-8 Constanza shined with 23 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks, albeit on a 6-19 shooting clip. Constanza does not currently hold an offer from UK, but there is interest from the ‘Cats.

Kentucky was also present for Montverde Academy‘s (FL) 96-77 win over Archbishop Carroll (PA). Kentucky native Gabe Weis, a top 100 2026 recruit, played sparingly for Montverde, but still managed nine points in his five minutes.

The current Kentucky team and coaching staff will soon turn all of its focus on Ohio State this Saturday in New York, but in the meantime, there’s plenty of recruiting to be done.
