Kentucky Releases First Football Depth Chart of 2023

Game week is here. As is custom during each week of the Kentucky football season (excluding the bye), head coach Mark Stoops kicks off the week by releasing a depth chart prior to his Monday morning press conference. After sharing multiple offseason projections, we finally have a finished product before the Cats take host Ball State at Kroger Field on Saturday, Sept. 2.

As has become the custom under Mark Stoops, there are plenty of “ORs” on the depth chart, most notably at right tackle between Jeremy Flax and Courtland Ford. The BBN also received some clarity on special teams. Only three true freshman appear on the depth chart on offense and defense: S Ty Bryant, TE Khamari Anderson and WR Anthony Brown-Stephens.
