Kentucky will get the SEC Nation treatment for 2nd straight week
From Lexington to Athens, the SEC Nation crew will feature Kentucky for the second straight week.
It was announced on Sunday morning that the Southeastern Conference’s version of College Gameday will head to Georgia for next Saturday’s showdown between the top-ranked Bulldogs and the Kentucky Wildcats. SEC Nation was in Lexington this past weekend, setting up shop outside of Kroger Field for Kentucky’s 33-14 win over Florida.
Kentucky and No. 1 Georgia will pit undefeated 5-0 records against each other for the Saturday, October 7th matchup set for 7:00 p.m. EST on ESPN.
This week’s show will take place at UGA’s Myers Quad from 10:00 a.m. – noon EST on the SEC Network. After missing last week, host Laura Rutledge will be back in the lead chair where she’ll be joined by usual panelists Paul Finebaum, Roman Harper, Jordan Rodgers, and Tim Tebow.

SEC Nation isn’t the only show taking place in Athens for what will be a highly-anticipated SEC East showdown. Marty & McGee will precede the show on Saturday from 9-10 a.m. EST where Marty Smith and Ryan McGee will break down the latest SEC headlines. On Friday, The Paul Finebaum Show will also take place at the Myers Quad, which runs from 3-7 p.m. EST.
Since the show’s inception back in 2014, Kentucky has been part of SEC Nation a total of 14 times with an overall record of 5-9. When on the road, UK has produced a mere 1-5 record. This will mark the fourth time that Kentucky-Georgia has the SEC Nation matchup, although the ‘Cats are winless so far in the series.
Georgia currently holds a 13-game winning streak over Kentucky, the last win for the Wildcats coming in 2009. Although UK has played the Bulldogs relatively close over the last several years, they’ve never been able to pull off the upset. The stage is set for that to change next weekend.
