WATCH: Kentucky's Senior Night Ceremonies at Rupp Arena
It’s a special night at Rupp Arena as Kentucky Basketball says goodbye to four Wildcats: Antonio Reeves, Tre Mitchell, Kareem Watkins, and Brennan Canada. While Reeves and Mitchell are the most well-known, each has made significant contributions to the program over their time as Wildcats.
Coming into the Vanderbilt game, Reeves is tied with Jamal Murray as the leading scorer in the John Calipari era at 20.0 points per game. He went through Senior Night ceremonies a year ago but deserves another round of flowers, don’t you think? On a team full of scorers, Reeves leads the way, averaging over five more points per game than the next Wildcat, Rob Dillingham.

After Bob Huggins’ time at West Virginia came to an end, grad transfer Tre Mitchell came to Kentucky when the Cats needed him the most. Injuries have hampered him down the stretch, but he’s still one of the glue guys on the roster, providing leadership to this young squad, even from the bench. Same for Watkins and Canada, whose impact behind the scenes is significant. Canada declined to walk through the hoop after doing so a year ago, but Watkins enjoyed his moment in the Rupp Arena spotlight with his family.
