Kentucky Showing Interest in Alabama Forward Transfer Mouhamed Dioubate

Kentucky’s transfer efforts have continued this week, with more top names entering the portal on Friday. One of those players is Alabama forward Mouhamed Dioubate.

Kentucky reached out to Dioubate’s representation on Friday, sources tell KSR+. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 7.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game, shooting 61.7 percent from the field and 46.2 percent from three-point range.

Dioubate finished with eight points on 2-for-5 shooting with eight rebounds, three assists, and one steal in Alabama’s win over Kentucky on Jan. 18. Dioubate only had four points in Alabama’s win over Kentucky on Feb. 22, but he played a crucial role in holding Otega Oweh to only two points on 1-for-9 from the field.

Dioubate entered the transfer portal on Friday. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
