Kentucky signee Rob Dillingham says he'll arrive on campus in June
Robert Dillingham recently graduated from Overtime Elite earlier in May, clearing his way to enroll at the University of Kentucky this summer as a freshman. Despite some offseason rumblings, everything seems to be perfectly in line for the Kentucky men’s basketball signee to arrive in Lexington next month.
On Monday afternoon, during an Instagram Live appearance on OTE’s official page for the Cold Hearts, the team that Dillingham suited up for this past season, the shifty four-star guard indicated that he expects to make it to Lexington on June 1.
Someone in the comments asked when classes start back up for Dillingham, to which he replied “I don’t know. I go to school June 1.” Additionally, a source close to the situation tells Jacob Polacheck of KSR+ that Dillingham will arrive at UK in “early June”.
The 6-foot-2 Dillingham is considered the No. 15 overall prospect from the class of 2023, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. He is one of five signees for head coach John Calipari’s incoming group of freshmen, joining a No. 1 ranked recruiting class that also consists of DJ Wagner, Justin Edwards, Aaron Bradshaw, and Reed Sheppard.
A source close to Sheppard tells KSR that the four-star combo guard intends to arrive in Lexington on either May 31 or June 1. All five signees are expected to arrive on campus sometime in early June.

Dillingham putting on his recruiting hat?
During the same IG Live, which lasted about 30 minutes, one of Dillingham’s Cold Heart teammates, class of 2024 center Somto Cyril, joined in for a few minutes to chat it up with the future Wildcat. Dillingham posed the idea of Cyril reclassifying to 2023 and teaming up with the Wildcats this coming season
“Why don’t you just class up (to 2023) and come to Kentucky?” Dillingham questioned. “That would be a great move. We didn’t get Hunter Dickinson to come to Kentucky.”
“Tell Coach Cal to hit me up,” Cyril responded. “Tell him to hit me up.”
Cyril has been hearing from the Kentucky coaching staff throughout his recruitment, dating back to June 2022, although no official scholarship offer has been announced. A 6-foot-10, 250-pound center, Cyril is considered the No. 29 overall prospect in the ’24 class, per the On3 Industry Ranking. Nicknamed “Baby Shaq” with a 7-foot-5 wingspan, he’s one of the most physically imposing players in all of high school basketball.
This could be something, or it could be absolutely nothing, but it was an interesting exchange between the two hoopers, regardless.
