The Kentucky Softball program released its fall schedule Friday afternoon, with games set against some in-state competition along with a conference opponent in Tennessee. The annual Big Blue Boo is set for Oct. 20 at John Cropp Stadium where the ‘Cats will take on the Volunteers at 5 p.m. ET.

The game in Lexington will be the second meeting with Tennessee in the fall after the Wildcats travel to Knoxville on Oct. 5 for an away match at 6 p.m. ET. Due to new additions to the SEC in Texas and Oklahoma, the conference schedule rotation will change, meaning UK and UT will not meet in the spring during the regular season.

The fourth annual Big Blue Boo features free admission to all patrons, with gates opening at 3:30 p.m. for guest activities before the first pitch at 5. The event will be televised on SEC Network+, which is one of the only fall games broadcast live or on digital television.

The ‘Cats announced the remainder of their fall schedule, where they get back on the field in Richmond, Kentucky to play Eastern Kentucky University on Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. ET. They’ll go on to host Georgetown College, Morehead State, and Lake Land College in back-to-back-to-back games Sept. 27-29 at John Cropp Stadium. They’ll also host Louisville in between the games against Tennessee on Oct. 17 at home.

All of Kentucky’s fall games will be free admission at home, so all fans can get the opportunity to see the ‘Cats in action before they hit the field for the regular season in spring.
