Kentucky didn’t play a game yet somehow managed to fall in the AP Top 25. Sitting at No. 35 overall with six total votes in Week 6, the Wildcats only received one vote in the Week 7 update to slip to No. 39 overall.

UK previously checked in at No. 31 overall in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll with 12 points overall.

Following a week of chaos on the SEC, Texas jumped up to No. 1 overall, followed by Georgia at No. 5, Alabama at No. 7, Tennessee at No. 8, Ole Miss at No. 9, LSU at No. 13, Texas A&M at No. 15, Oklahoma at No. 18 and Missouri at No. 21. Vanderbilt (26) and Arkansas (17) jumped ahead of Kentucky (1) among vote-getters outside the top 25 to round out the SEC.
