If you’re still awake, you’re probably watching the Kentucky Football game. Or, at least, trying to.

Lightning in the Lexington area not only delayed the start of tonight’s game by two hours, it forced the SEC Network to make some changes to the broadcast. According to Tom Hart, the network’s cameras near the field are locked down due to a company policy prohibiting the operators from being out in the elements. That leaves the camera mounted atop the stadium as the lone camera for in-game action. It can zoom, but not that well, leaving fans at home either scooting closer to the TV or pinching their phone or tablet screens in an attempt to see the Cats better.

Twitter’s having some fun with it.

Also having fun: the Kroger Field crowd. Shoutout to the fans in the stands, who turned the two-hour delay into a party, thanks in part to the new LED lighting system.

While BBN was partying at Kroger Field, the Cats tried to kill time at the practice facility. For Barion Brown, that meant taking a cat nap. Deone Walker played rock, paper, scissors with a young fan through some glass doors.
