Kentucky spent Thanksgiving morning giving back in Lexington
Mark Pope promised a service activity for the Kentucky Wildcats on Thanksgiving before hosting a “festival rarely seen before” later in the evening. Now, we know what the team did this morning to get the day started.
The Cats were in Lexington packing meals together for those in need, looking to give back to a community that has done nothing but shower them with support since they arrived on campus.
“What’s up, BBN? Happy Thanksgiving! Today, we’re at Malone’s packing Thanksgiving lunches to help give back to the community,” Trent Noah said in video published by the team this morning.
“BBN pours so much into us, so as a team, we just wanted to come pour back into the community and pour back into the state,” Travis Perry added. “Enjoy the day with your families and happy Thanksgiving!”

Servant leadership is nothing new for the Kentucky basketball program, a top priority for the Wildcats around the holidays. That continues to be the case with Mark Pope taking things over in Lexington.
Happy Thanksgiving, BBN!
