Kentucky Target Dyllon Williams Decommits from Missouri
Do you smell that smell? It smells like somebody is flipping pancakes over at the Joe Craft Football Training Facility. That’s because a high-priority Kentucky football recruiting target has reopened his recruitment.
Dyllon Williams announced on Thursday night that he is no longer committed to Missouri. “My recruitment is OPEN,” he shared on social media.
How open is it? The door is open wide enough for Kentucky to slide in and secure a big-time recruiting win.
The South Carolina game was a disaster on the field, but it might end up being a big win on the recruiting front. Williams and Mikkel Skinner officially visited for that September football game. Skinner also recently decommitted from Cincinnati.
It feels like deja vu all over again in the recruitment of Dyllon Williams. A big, 6-foot-2, three-star safety from rural Alabama, he fits the body type the Wildcats are looking for at that position. Cam Dooley had a similar profile last fall. The Alabama three-star athlete was also committed to Missouri before he ultimately opted to sign with the Wildcats on Signing Day.
The stars are beginning to align for Kentucky to land Williams. That’s why I have placed an On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) pick for the Wildcats.

Kentucky Hosting an Official Visitor for Vanderbilt Game
On Monday a judge officially moved forward with the House settlement that will expand the number of scholarship players on an FBS football roster from 85 to 105. Kentucky needs more players than usual in its 2025 high school recruiting class. Now we’re seeing more names emerge.
One of them is familiar to those who follow the Wildcats’ recruiting efforts or just enjoy high-quality Kentucky high school football. Montavin Quisenberry has been a star at Boyle County High School for years. His best performance this fall was against nationally-ranked St. Edwards. Quisenberry had four touchdowns to propel Boyle County to a stunning 38-21 win in Ohio.
Quisenberry made those plays as a West Virginia commit. Even though he’s been a frequent flyer to Lexington for unofficial visits over the years, he never made an official visit before he committed to the Mountaineers. He’s finally making that official visit this weekend. The best athlete in the state of Kentucky should be considered a flip candidate for the Wildcats.
Those are just a couple of the top targets visiting Kentucky for the Vanderbilt game. On3’s Steve Wiltfong has a rundown of the best of the best coming to Lexington this weekend.
