The Pangos All-American Camp has been one of the premier all-star events of the summer for high school standouts for over two decades, held annually in Las Vegas with NBA scouts and national media filling the stands to watch the next generation of stars compete year after year. It’s an alumni list that includes 196 NBA Draft picks, 120 first-round selections, eight No. 1 picks and two league MVPs. Among them? Former Wildcats Anthony Davis, John Wall, De’Aaron Fox, Terrence Jones, Doron Lamb, Jarred Vanderbilt, PJ Washington, Archie Goodwin, Terrence Clarke and Justin Edwards — the list of Kentucky talent goes on and on.

Who will be the next to join that group of Pangos All-Americans to wear the blue and white in Lexington? A couple of big-time targets were invited in 2025, along with a number of other names of potential interest for Mark Pope and his staff.

In terms of 2026 recruits with Kentucky scholarship offers, there are two competing this week in Las Vegas — both sitting inside the top 10 of On3’s latest player rankings: Christian Collins (No. 3) and Ikenna Alozie (No. 10). Other rising seniors with confirmed contact and interest include Bryson Howard (son of former NBA All-Star Josh Howard), Anthony Felesi, Christian Gibson and Kevin Thomas.

There is even a ’26 Kentucky football recruit in attendance: four-star wide receiver Jasen Lopez, who picked up an offer from Mark Stoops and the Wildcats back in May of 2024. The two-sport star is expected to take an official visit to Lexington.

As for 2027 targets — the Wildcats have only offered three: Baba Oladotun, CJ Rosser and Obinna Ekezie Jr. — but Reese Alston and Gabe Nesmith are both early names of interest for Kentucky.

With 100-plus attendees each year, the Pangos All-American Camp proves to be one of the best events to find early diamonds in the rough and players on the cusp of stardom, needing a slight bump in exposure against elite competition before taking off as household names. There are already proven five-stars receiving interest from the best of the best, along with others you may not know now — but certainly will soon.

Needless to say, the Kentucky staff is monitoring this week’s events in Las Vegas carefully. From there, prepare for NBPA Top 100 Camp (June 9-13), USA Basketball U19 Training Camp (June 15-22), Peach Jam (July 13-20) and the Adidas 3SSB Championships (July 17-20) to take over the summer recruiting schedule for the Wildcats.

Kentucky basketball never sleeps, folks.
