Kentucky TE target Brody Lennon commits to Ohio State
One of Kentucky’s top tight end targets is off the board.
On Thursday afternoon, three-star Brody Lennon announced his commitment to Ohio State. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound product of Cleveland (OH) Gilmour Academy took an official visit to Kentucky the weekend of June 14, but one day before he arrived in Lexington, the home-state Buckeyes elected to make its move by extending him a scholarship offer.
Lennon then took an official visit to Ohio State over the weekend and didn’t waste much time announcing his decision. He’s considered the No. 487 overall prospect from the class of 2025 by the On3 Industry Ranking.
Kentucky, which landed a commitment from four-star EDGE Cedric Works earlier today, has not yet secured a commitment from a 2025 tight end. The Wildcats previously targeted the likes of four-star Luka Gilbert and three-star Ryan Ghea, although both tight ends have committed to Miami (FL) and Auburn, respectively.

Other than Lennon, UK did not host any other tight ends for official visits during the month of June. That being said, Vince Marrow‘s room has plenty of talent moving forward. Josh Kattus and Jordan Dingle are both juniors, Khamari Anderson is a sophomore, Tanner Lemaster a redshirt freshman, and Willie Rodriguez a freshman. Barring a surprise emergence from a new prospect this fall, Kentucky could be content not taking a tight end this cycle.
With the addition of Works, Kentucky’s 2025 recruiting class is now ranked 24th nationally with 13 commits on board.
