PHEW. I don’t know about you, but my heart is still pounding. No. 15 Kentucky’s 85-81 upset of No. 4 Tennessee had thrilling moments and terrifying ones. Thankfully, there were more of the former than the latter, although I never want to relive those final minutes again.

Reed Sheppard and Antonio Reeves had 27 points each, Reed scoring 22 of those in the second half, to offset Dalton Knecht, who finished with a game-high 40. Reed was 7-10 from the outside, almost all of those threes coming at clutch moments. The offense was amazing, but Kentucky took control of the game in the first half with its defense, holding Tennessee to just eight field goals on 25% shooting before halftime. Even though those numbers dipped in the second half, the Cats are bringing home a massive win, which is all that matters.
