Kentucky came in tonight with the chips stacked against them, with Jaxson Robinson missing the game due to a wrist injury. The Cats got off to a great start and were trading punches with the Vols in the second half when disaster struck. Lamont Butler reinjured his shoulder going after a loose ball, leaving Kentucky without two of its top-point guard options.

Instead of wilting, the Cats banded together to pull off the incredible 75-64 win thanks to some huge plays by Koby Brea, Trent Noah, and Ansley Almonor. Noah and Travis Perry each finished with career highs, Noah scoring 11 points and Perry eight. The Cats hit their final five field goals to seal the win, which is another massive one on Kentucky’s resume.

Four Cats finished in double figures, none with more than 13 points: Otega Oweh (13), Ansley Almonor (13), Koby Brea (11), and Noah (11). The Cats were 12-24 from three to the Vols’ 3-18 mark from the outside. Enjoy each one of those threes and several more huge plays below to the tune of Tom Leach and Goose Givens:
